Former player and 2 time All-American here at Spalding, Tim Gray, will be joining the Men's Basektball staff for the first time. This years basketball team does not have one Senior listed on the roster.

Mcafee Has Big Game in Victory Over Principia The Spalding University Golden Eagles Men’s Basketball Team was able to get back on the winning side of things on Monday night with a victory over Principia College. With the victory, the Golden Eagles move to 8-10 on the season and 5-4 in conference play. Sophomore guard Dewhon Mcafee played one of his best games of the season, which was the big story for Spalding. He shot 10-14 from the field and went 3-3 from behind the three-point line. He also knocked down 4 of his 5 free throws to finish the game with 27 points, a game high. Dewhon was also able to grab 4 rebounds and he did not turn the ball over once. Spalding earned a decisive victory over Principia, with the final score being Spalding 69 and Principia 50. The Golden Eagles’ next game will be played on Thursday, January 28 at Westminster College. Spalding lost a tough battle to Westminster in their first meeting, but hope to give them their first conference loss on Thursday.
