Did You Know? Last year the Spalding University Volleyball Team captured the USCAA National Title. In 2007 the Volleyball Team came up a game short of winning the National Championship by losing in the Final Game. The 2009 team marks only the second time a Spalding Athletic team has won a National Championship |
Assistant Volleyball Coach Steve Kennedy joined the coaching staff in the fall of 2006. Coach Kennedy is an avid volleyball player himself and was a USVBA travel player. His coaching experience includes more than 20 years of coaching several teams with the Louisville Catholic School Athletic Association.
Coach Kennedy also served as the Volleyball Director for St. Bernard for nearly 12 years. Coach Kennedy also coached two seasons of Junior Olympic Volleyball for KIVA.
Steve and his wife Helene have four children, all of whom live in Louisville. |
