Coach Schwiermann comes to Spalding University from Bellarmine University where she served as the Women’s Assistant Coach since 2007. She is a USBC Silver-Level Certified Coach with over twenty years of coaching experience. As the Head Varsity Bowling Coach at Louisville’s Sacred Heart Academy, a program she began in 2003, her teams captured the Regular Season Conference Championship and Conference Tournament Championship each year since 2003, including the Kentucky High School Bowling Association State Championship in 2006.
Her bowling coaching experience also includes co-ordinating various youth scholarship and sport shot leagues at Ten Pin Strike and Spare and providing individual instruction by appointment. She has developed individual players who went on to compete at Purdue University, Vincennes University, University of Central Florida, Morehead State University, University of Louisville and Bellarmine University. Some of these student/athletes have received recognition as National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-Americans.
